Composer/Orchestrator

Born in Montevideo, Uruguay.

He studied vocal technique at the National School of Lyric Art and the National Conservatory of Music. 

He studied Performing Arts, Conducting and Composition at the Faculty of Arts. 

In Argentina he studied at the Julio Bocca School of Musical Comedy.

 

Was awarded in the Jeunesse Musicale Contests and FONAM (National Music Fund) in Uruguay and the "Mabel Veleris Musical Contest" in Argentina, where he recorded a CD with songs from musicals. 

 

In musical comedy he has performed the following roles: Joseph in "Joseph and the amazing technicolor dreamcoat" (Lloyd Webber), Roger in "Grease" (Jacobs and Casey), Tony in "West Side Story" (Bernstein), among other. 

 

In opera he has performed the roles of Sextus in "Julius Caesar" (Handel), Alessandro in "Il Re pastore" (Mozart), Nadir in "Les pecheurs de perles" (Bizet), Tamino in "Die Zauberflöte" (Mozart), among other.

 

In theater, the roles of Marcos in "A meeting with Al Jolson" (Cohen), Juan in "Saverio el cruel" (Arlt), Musician in "El acero de Madrid" (Lope de Vega), Rosma in "El rentista" (Arlt) , among others. 

 

He has participated in concerts and productions with the Pro Opera Association of Uruguay, Montevideo Philharmonic Orchestra, National Orchestra of Uruguay, Jeunesse Musicale of Uruguay, The National Radio Orchestra of Buenos Aires, etc., at the Liceu Theatre (Barcelona, Spain), Solís Theatre (Montevideo, Uruguay) SESI Theatre (Porto Alegre, Brazil), The National Radio Auditorium (Buenos Aires, Argentina), Teatro Bellas Artes (Madrid), Victor Theatre (Santa Cruz, Tenerife), Timanfaya Theatre (Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife), Infanta Leonor Auditorium 

(Arona, Tenerife), among others. 

 

He has also participated in several shows such as "Tenorissimo" and "Broadway Gala" in Uruguay, "Musical Cpmedy" in Argentina and "An Evening on Broadway in Spain." 

 

He was invited to perform in the opening ceremony of the "2nd. World Congress on Global Warming and Climate Change" held at the National Auditorium of Uruguay.
